浅析中国古代星象学的发端——以中国古代天文思想为视角

A Brief Analysis of the Origin of the Ancient Chinese Astrology Relics——From the Perspective of Ancient Chinese Astronomical Thought

在中国古代,星象学是古人对宇宙及自然变化规律的主观认识,也体现着古人高超的智慧和杰出的观察思考能力。近年来,随着中国古代文化被不断重新发现,星象学也进一步被认知。文章以中国古代天文思想为视角,从古文字、历法、占卜、政治统治4个方面的体现,考察了星象学的发端,探讨了导致其出现的可能原因及其影响指出了星象学是人类思想文化活动的产物,上古人民对自然和社会的一般规律欲求合理的解释,受认知条件的限制,解释带有天然的局限性和主观性,但随着这些解释被逐渐系统化、规范化,最终引申成为了一系列规则标准,在当时社会经济条件下具有"合理性"和"合法性",星象学便由此发端。

In China,astrology is the ancients＇ subjective understanding of the laws of universe and natural change.It also reflects the ancients＇ superb intelligence and excellent observation and thinking ability.In recent years,Chinese ancient culture has been constantly re-discovered,which brings about recognition to astrology.Based on the Chinese ancient astronomical thought,this paper has a preliminary investigation of the origin of astrology and a discussion of the possible causes of the occurrence and its influence,from the perspective of ancient writing,calendar,divination,and political domination.The paper holds that astrology is the product of human thought and cultural activities.The ancient people have a reasonable explanation for the general law of nature and society,which is limited by the cognition condition,thus explaining the natural limitation and subjectivity.As these explanations are gradually systematized and standardized,the final extension becomes a series of standard rules.Eventually the extension became a set of standard rules,which had ＂rationality＂ and ＂legality＂ under certain social and economic conditions at that time,and that is how the ancient astrology begins.It is hoped that the discussion in this paper would be helpful to relevant studies in the fields of Chinese ancient astrology or astronomy.
