Immediately after its debut,attention from audience is drawn because of its unique creation techniques and emotional expression. The uniqueness of Documentary Editing Room 72 Hours is that it uses the techniques of single-sited ethnography and the recording of general public in public space so as to re-shape the urban public space,as well as to manifest the function that video can recall urban collective memories. Compared with Documentary 72 Hours produced by Japanese NHK,generally speaking,there is a lacking of ＂quiet＂aesthetic style in this one. In a ＂blockbuster＂age when techniques are privileged and documentaries are extravagantly produced,the documentary,which is created with ＂quiet attitude＂,＂artisan spirit＂and profound life experiences,can provide us with more visual comfort and spiritual enlightenment.
