Analysis on the Protection of Folk Opera——Taking the Hahaqiang as An Example

民间戏曲是前人留给我们的珍贵文化遗产,但近几十年来,多种原因导致民间戏曲生存艰难,许多剧种消失或濒危。清苑哈哈腔在困境中求生存、在创新中谋发展;一方面是剧团重视唱腔、表演和剧目的创新,另一方面,政府实施振兴哈哈腔战略,建立良性人才培养机制,在资金和政策上大力扶持。清苑哈哈腔的传承与保护工作卓有成效,为我国民间戏曲保护提供了宝贵的经验。

Traditional folk operas, the invaluable heritage f rom our culture, have been experiencing serious difficulties in surviving due to various reasons over the recent decades; many local operas are either increasingly endangered or on the verge of distinction. Yet Hahaqiang, originated in Qingyuan County, has evolved to find a way out. For one thing, local opera troupes place great emphasis on the innovation of aria, performance and the repertoire. For another, the government has made the strategic decision to revitalize Hahaqiang by establishing a well-run personnel training mechanism and offering both financial as well as policy support. Till now Hahaqiang has been well inherited and protected,which has provided valuable experience for the protection of folk operas in China.
