Trans-1-chloro-3,3,3-trifluoropropene(E-HCFO-1233 zd)has attracted the attention of the whole world in recent years as one of new substitute for 1,1,1,3,3-pentafluoropropane(HFC-245 fa).The various characteristics and advances in the synthesis of the fourth generation liquid blowing agent E-HCFO-1233 zd were introduced and its developmental prospect was discussed.
