摘要
目的探索太赫兹波检测技术在胶质瘤切除术中辅助进行定位定性同步诊断的技术可行性。方法采用反射式全光纤太赫兹时域光谱系统,于较为干燥的空气环境(湿度10%)中,获取在体条件下小鼠大脑半球凸面脑胶质瘤和正常脑组织的太赫兹时域脉冲信号,提取两者光谱参数,对折射率和吸收系数等光谱差异分析结果进行术中胶质瘤原位识别研究。结果在信噪比可接受的范围内(0~1.5 THz),在体正常脑组织和脑胶质瘤的折射率主要在0.4~0.6 THz波段有差异,而二者的吸收系数在0.4~0.9 THz范围内有差异,说明基于太赫兹波谱差异可有效识别和定位肿瘤及正常脑组织。结论太赫兹波谱识别技术在手术中进行胶质瘤原位识别具有可能性。
Objective To explore the technical feasibility of intraoperative positioning and qualitative diagnosis of brain gliomas using terahertz spectroscopy. Method At an air humidity of 10%,a reflective fullfiber terahertz time-domain spectrum system was used to obtain terahertz time-domain pulse signals of mouse brain gliomas and normal brain tissues on the surface of the cerebral hemisphere. The spectral parameters of the gliomas and normal brain tissues were extracted and analyzed for their differences for in situ recognition of the tumors. Results Normal mouse brain tissues and brain gliomas showed significantly different refractivity within the range of 0. 4 to 0. 6 THz and significantly different absorption coefficients within the range of 0. 4 to 0. 9 THz. The tumor and normal brain tissues could be effectively recognized and positioned based on the differences of the parameters of terahertz spectroscopy. Conclusion Our preliminary findings verify the possibility of using terahertz spectroscopy for intraoperative in situ recognition of gliomas to provide assistance in precision tumor resection.
