Effect of Household Tumble Drying on the Properties of Wool Knitted Fabrics

文中主要研究家庭滚筒烘干对羊毛针织物外观性能的影响,选取11种不同组织的羊毛及混纺针织物进行试验,探讨了平铺晾干和滚筒烘干对羊毛织物尺寸、平整度、色差、表面毛羽性能的影响。结果表明,相对于平铺晾干,经过滚筒烘干后羊毛织物的尺寸收缩会发生显著变化,防缩羊毛、防缩羊毛与腈纶混纺、巴素兰羊毛与腈纶混纺织物因仅发生松弛收缩而尺寸收缩较小;未处理羊毛和巴素兰羊毛织物因同时发生毡化收缩和松弛变形尺寸收缩较大,且随烘干次数增加而增加。此外,滚筒烘干后羊毛织物毛羽增加,色差变化较小,平整度有所提高。

This paper mainly studied the effect of household tumble drying on the appearance properties of wool knitted fabrics, selected 11 different types of wool and blended knitted fabrics to wash and dry on a flat or in a tumble dryer. The effect of fiat drying and tumble dryer on properties such as size, flatness, color difference, and surface hairiness of the fabric were discussed. The results show that the dimensional shrinkage of wool fabrics after tumble drying can change significantly compared to fiat drying, while it has smaller dimensional shrinkage due to only relaxation shrinkage for anti-shrinking wo01, anti-shrinking wool and acrylic blended fabric, basolan treated wool and acrylic blended knitted fabric. The shrinkage of the fabric of untreated wool and basolan treated wool shrink is larger due to felting and relaxation at the same time, and their shrinkage value increases with the number of drying cycles. The surface hairiness increases slightly after tumble drying, and no significant color change found, and flatness is improved compared with fiat dry.
