Based on the archaeological classification, the metal composition analysis data and so on, the production of the bronzes unearthed from the burials of the Eastern Zhou Period at the Xinghe Road Locality of the Jinsha Site is discussed. The weapons unearthed from these burials could be classified into two types: the high-ranking burials were usually associated with non-practical weapon models specially made as funeral objects, but the testing data among the individual samples had differences, showing that they would have been made in different batches and reflecting some special modes of production. The bronze weapons unearthed from the lower-ranking burials were all high-quality practical ones, which were mostly used by the burial occupants when they were alive. When producing weapons of different categories and qualities, the producers seemed not to intentionally choose the materials from concrete resources and all used the materials of local features.
