The standards on roll made of cast iron involve national standard, trade standard and enterprise standard. The course of development of standard on metallurgical roll from enterprise standard to trade one and to national one were introduced. In addition, the standards that were laid down by Hangzhou Zhongqiang Roll Co., Ltd according to external advanced concept and their examination also were introduced. The quality of the roll of cast iron has been appreciablv improved due to strict implementation of the enterorise standards.
