Art castings are commonly prepared by the use of resin sand mould casting or precision investment casting technologies. Under normal conditions, art castings are made of copper alloy. The casting process in which resin sand mould is used consists mainly of resin sand molding and pouring, and the precision investment casting process consists mainly of shell molding, shell roasting, and pouring.
