"思想道德修养与法律基础"课是对大学生进行法治观教育的核心课程。为切实提高大学生的法律素养和道德素质,养成尊法学法守法用法的自觉性,广大教师在教学中必须引导青年学生正确认识西方法治文明,消除对西方法治理论和实践的盲目崇拜;帮助学生深刻理解马克思主义法学思想及其对中国特色社会主义法治建设的指导性作用;引导学生自觉弘扬中华优秀传统法律文化,增强对中华优秀法律文化的自豪感和自信心;帮助学生全面把握习近平新时代中国特色社会主义法治思想,坚定走中国特色社会主义法治道路的自觉性。

Ideological and Moral Cultivation and Fundamentals of Law is a central course aiming to educate college students with the view of law. In order to practically improve college studentslegal literacy and moral quality and to develop their consciousness of respecting the law and abiding by the law, teaching faculties must lead students to correctly under- stand Western legal civilization and eliminate their blind worship of the theory and practice of the rule of law in the West while helping the students to deeply understand Marxist legal ideology and its guiding role in the legal building of socialism with Chinese characteristics ; they should also direct the students to inherit and promote the excellent traditional Chinese law culture and enrich their sense of pride and confidence about the outstanding traditional Chinese law culture while helping them to fully comprehend XI Jinping＇s thoughts on the socialist rule of law with Chinese characteristics in the new era and consolidate their consciousness in following the legal path of socialism with Chinese characteristics.
