Desolation is the eternal theme of the novels composed by Eileen Zhang. Obtaining the keen perception towards sense organ,Eileen Zhang seizes the tactus,the visual sense and auditory delicately,then utilizes the synesthesia strategy to interweave different senses,which is specific to the pain and depression of tactus,the beauty and gloom of vision,the hubbub and sadness of auditory.With the intercommunication and contrast of these three elements,a unique,tridimensional and sensory world of desolation is eventually constructed.
