Forced Down Kaiyuan King Nahacu and Wutouxia Surrendering Masses Settling in Pearl River Source

明朝初期,由于拥有起源于成吉思汗赐封为左手军、在伐金战争中充当主力的五投下,北元政权曾以辽阳行省为东南靠山,与明朝对峙。曾为成吉思汗四杰之一的纳哈出被封为丞相,手握重兵,成为元朝末年辽阳行省实际统治者。元朝大势已去,明军连续讨伐。明取得辽东后,明太祖多次遣使招抚纳哈出未果。洪武二十年,纳哈出降明。降后,朱元璋亲封纳哈出为海西侯,赐丹书铁券。纳哈出＂本管将士＂根植于弘吉剌、兀鲁兀、忙兀、扎剌儿和亦乞列思五个部落,其家属就是五投下百姓。五投下经南迁落籍珠江源后,从军户变为民户,从事农耕。

After the Ming Dynasty procured the eastern and southern parts of Liaoning province,Ming T＇ ai-tsu had dispatched envoys offering amnesty and enlistment to Nahacu,but in vain. Hongwu twentieth-year,Nahacu surrendered. Zhu Yuan-zhang conferred titles of nobility on Nahacu as Haixi Hou,and granted Iron Dan Book coupons.The soldiers of the Yuan army,which belonged to the Na family,with the Mongolian nationality,should be settled on the grassland and rooted in Onggirat.Wu Lu Wu,Mongqut,Zha Er Er,and Also Liesi Kilimanjaro,whose families are common people of Wutouxia.Wutouxia moved south and settled in Pearl River source,transforming from military to households and engaging in farming.
