After the brief introduction, a survey is made on research of Hexi Baojuan＇s translation and communication in the West for the purpose of analyzing its translation and communication model in its operator, content, medium, receiver and effect. Under the enlightenment of Hexi Baojuan＇s translation and communication model, it is proposed to improve the translation and communication model for Chinese folk literature to help it gain world fame.
