Allergy rhinitis is a type of I type hypersensitivity reaction mediated by IgE after idiopathic individual exposure to allergens, and its pathogenesis includes the interaction of numerous inflammatory cells and CD4^+ T cell subsets. In present, the incidence of AR has been increasing year by year and with a heavy burden to society. The Notch signaling pathway is involved in immune cell differentiation process, which closely related to immune system diseases and its receptors and ligands play different roles. Traditional drug and desensitization therapy still have some limitations. In this review, the mechanism of Notch signaling in the AR pathogenesis is highlighted, hoping to open up a new way for ARs immune mechanism and treatment.
