“非遗”本真性问题再论

On Further Discussion on the Authenticity of Intangible Cultural Heritage

在联合国教科文组织颁布《保护非物质文化遗产伦理原则》之后,"非遗"保护要不要保持其"本真性"的问题仍有讨论的空间。在"非遗"保护中强调保持原生态是不现实的,但是在保护过程中强调保持本真性还是有道理的,"传统文化不能转基因"这个提法没有错。《保护非物质文化遗产伦理原则》第八条虽然否定本真性是非遗的本质属性,但并没有否定保护"非遗"过程中保持本真性的价值和意义。"非遗"保护过程中要不要保持其本真性是事关"非遗"保护质量的重大理论问题。

After the promulgationof Ethical Principles for Safeguarding Intangible Cultural Heritage by UNESCO,whether the Intangible Cultural Heritage should preserve its authenticity still has room for discussion.Although the article eight of the Ethical Principles negates authenticity as the essential attribute of Intangible Cultural Heritage,it does not negate the value and significance of preserving authenticity in the process of protecting Intangible Cultural Heritage.It is unrealistic to emphasize the protection of the original ecosystem in the protection of Intangible Cultural Heritage.However,it is reasonable to maintain the authenticity in the protection process of Intangible Cultural Heritage.There is nothing wrong with the statement of traditional culture which cannot be genetically modified.In the process of protecting Intangible Cultural Heritage,whether to maintain its authenticity is a major theoretical issue concerning the quality of intangible heritage protection.
