Frontier and Basic Research of Studies on Ming History——Interview with Professor NAN Bingwen

南炳文教授是著名的明史专家,在明史研究领域取得了丰硕的学术成果。南炳文教授不仅承担了中华书局点校"二十四史"之《明史》修订项目、国家社科基金重大项目《明实录》整理工程等基础性资料建设工作,而且还倡导从全球角度研究明朝及其所处的历史时代。南炳文教授曾任中国明史学会会长,对明史学科的发展作出了建设性的贡献。

Professor NAN Bingwen is a famous scholar on Ming History studies. He has gained rich academic achievements in this field. He took part in the revision project on Ming History,which is part of the revision project of " the Twenty-Four Histories" launched by Zhong Hua Book Company. He also took part in the basic information construction work of filing Records of Ming Dynasty,one of the major projects supported by the National Social Science Fund. Besides,he advocates studying the Ming Dynasty and its historical era from a global perspective. NAN Bingwen,the former president of the Chinese Society of Ming History,makes a constructive contribution to the study of Ming Dynasty.
