The Study of Ancient Yunnan's Sinicization

云南汉族是从汉代开始通过官方和民间两种移民形式持续不断地进入云南的一个外来民族。汉族的到来,与当地土著民族产生了竞争和融合,由于汉族移民时间长,人口庞大,以及汉族所承载的汉文化较土著文化成熟、先进,至明朝时,汉族已成为云南的主体民族、统治民族,汉文化成为云南的主流文化,云南汉化呈全方位铺开态势。

The Han nationality in Yunnan has been an ethnic group in Yunnan from the Han Dynasty through two forms of immigration, both official and civil. The arrival of the Han nationality brought about competition and integration with the indigenous peoples. The Han nationality has become the main and dominant ethnic group in Yunnan and the Han culture has become the mainstream culture of Yunnan because of the long migration of Han and because its culture is more mature and advanced than the aboriginal culture. The Han culture of Yunnan is spread out in all directions.
