外语焦虑、模糊容忍度及阅读成绩的相关性研究

摘要 定量的方法可以有效地研究英语专业学生在英语学习中外语焦虑、模糊容忍度和阅读成绩的相关性。研究对象为135名大学英语专业二年级学生。研究结果显示:英语专业学生的外语焦虑和模糊容忍度均为中等水平;阅读成绩与外语焦虑呈负相关关系,与模糊容忍度呈显著正相关关系;外语焦虑与模糊容忍度呈显著负相关关系。外语焦虑和模糊容忍度均对阅读成绩产生重要的影响。 With the help of quantitative method, this research investigates the correlation among foreign language anxiety, tolerance of ambiguity (TOA) and reading achievements of the English majors during their English studies. 135 English major sophomores are involved as research subjects. The results show that 1.English majors' foreign language anxiety and TOA are both at moderate level; 2.Reading achievements are negatively correlated with foreign language anxiety, and there is a significant positive correlation between reading achievements and TOA; 3. Foreign language anxiety is negatively correlated with TOA. Both foreign language anxiety and TOA exert important influence on reading achievements.
