Research on the Spatial Effect of Fiscal Decentralization and Promotion Incentive on Income Distribution

采用空间杜宾面板模型,分析了2000—2016年我国24个省（直辖市、自治区）的财政分权和晋升激励对城乡收入差距的空间效应。研究结果显示：若一省的财政分权收入指标值提高,当地的收入差距就会扩大,而邻省的相应指标则能显著改善当地的收入分配状况;尽管晋升激励指标对当地的收入分配具有显著的积极影响,当地人均GDP的增长也能缩小收入差距,但邻省人均GDP增速加快则会恶化当地的收入分配状况。

Based on the spatial durbin panel model, this paper discusses the spatial effect of fiscal decentralization and promotion incentive on urban-rural income gap in 24 provinces and regions from 2000 to 2016. According to the results of the model, the increased index value of fiscal decentralization in one province would lead to the expansion of local income gap, while the increased index value in neighboring region will significantly reduce local urban-rural income gap. And although the promotion incentive system and the growth of GDP per person could both narrow the urban-rural income gap, the growth of GDP per person in neighboring region will no doubt deteriorate local income distribution.
