摘要新闻专业主义发端于美国,其中新闻的客观性是其重要原则之一。通过回顾新闻客观性原则的发展历程,重点阐述了美国宪法和司法实践,特别是名誉权的诉讼案件对新闻报道的客观性的最终形成起到了规训的作用,使得新闻客观性成为了媒体安全运营的必然选择。
