浙江大学医学院附属第二医院烧伤科成立60年来，在前辈的引领下，历经几代人的努力，已经成长为全国知名的区域烧伤中心，在烧伤救治、营养支持、瘢痕防治、慢性创面规范诊治及组织工程皮肤的研发方面形成了鲜明的学科特色，为中国烧伤医学的发展做出了积极贡献。

Since its establishment for 60 years, Depart- ment of Burns of the Second Affiliated Hospital of Zhejiang Uni- versity School of Medicine has grown into a famous regional burn center in China under the leading of the pioneers and through the efforts of several generations. The department has distinctive dis- ciplinary features in burn care, nutritional support, scar preven- tion and treatments, standard management of chronic wound, and skin tissue engineering research, making positive contribu- tion to the development of burn medicine in China.
