The reusing function of main motor of defibrator in medium desity fiberboard （MDF） production line was briefly introduced. Because the maintenance was not in place, the main motor occasionally came to a sudden-stop during the production process, which would cause undesired breaks. By tracking the causes and corresponding measures, the sudden-stop problem was completely solved. The safety of equipment and the continuity of production were guaranteed to achieve the goal of stabilizing the quality of the products.
