舟山建设自贸港区有着地理位置得天独厚、基础设施建设不断加强等优势,面临着符合国家战略布局、相关基础已纳入规划等机遇。但也面临着港航服务业发展不足、相关人才相对短缺、自身发展缓慢等劣势与挑战。总体上看,建设舟山自贸港区符合国家经济布局大势,是提升我国大宗商品的全球配置能力的需要。
