Discussion on Differences Between Old and New Edition of GB/T 6394 Determination of Estimating the Average Grain Size of Metal

为了使2017版标准《金属平均晶粒度测定方法》更好地推广和使用,对《金属平均晶粒度测定方法》2002版标准GB/T 6394—2002和2017版标准GB/T 6394—2017的内容进行了比较分析。通过对比发现,2017版标准相较2002版标准共有19处变化,其中新增内容有13处,变更内容有6处,删除了旧版本的附录D。GB/T 6394—2017标准修改和完善了比较法、面积法、截点法平均晶粒度计算方法及要求,新增了非等轴晶粒的计算方法,并在晶界节点计数、奥氏体晶粒试样制样要求、精度与偏差等方面作出了修改及细化。

In order to promote and use the standard Determination of estimating the average grain size of metal of the 2017 edition well, the contents of GB/T 6394—2002 and GB/T 6394—2017 were compared and analyzed. Through comparison, the2017 edition of the standard had 19 changes compared to the 2002 edition standard, and there were 13 new contents and 6 changes, and the appendix D of old edition was deleted. In the GB/T 6394—2017 standard, the comparison method, area method, intercept point method, and the average grain size calculation method was modified and improved, and a calculation method of non-equiaxed grain was added. At the same time, the grain boundary node count, austenitic grain sample preparation requirements, and accuracy and deviations had been modified and refined.
