海草房是胶东半岛沿海地区的传统乡土民居,针对其不断受到破坏和遗弃的现实问题,采用图解记录的建筑学语言模式,对海草房的营建技术、施工过程和材料加工方法等进行全面的记录和研究,总结其内在的营建智慧,以期对今后该地区的传统海草房的保护修缮工作及现代更新起到指导作用。

The seaweed house is the traditional vernacular residence in the coastal area of Jiaodong Peninsula. In order to solve the practical problem of its constant destruction and abandonment, with the mode of architectural language through graphical recording, this paper comprehensively records and studies the construction technology, construction process and material processing method of seaweed house, summarizes its integral wisdom of construction. It will hopefully play a guiding role in the protection and renovation of the traditional seaweed house and its modern renewal in this region in the future.
