Main Problems Existing in Licensed Pharmacists in China and Suggestions for Improvement

药品是一种特殊商品,执业药师作为药学技术人员,保证患者用药的安全性和有效性。我国执业药师在配备率和提供药学服务方面存在的问题仍然很突出,该文从执业药师管理制度、执业药师数量、执业药师继续教育等方面探讨存在的主要问题,并从监管部门、零售药店、执业药师本身3个方面提出建议,促进执业药师制度的完善,保证公众用药安全有效。

Drugs are a special commodity, and licensed pharmacists are pharmaceutical technicians to ensure the safety and effectiveness of drug use by patients. The problems existing in the practice rate of practising pharmacists and the provision of pharmacy services in China are still outstanding. This article discusses the main problems existing in the management system of licensed pharmacists, the number of licensed pharmacists, the continuing education of licensed pharmacists,etc., as well as regulatory agencies, retail pharmacies and practising practices. The pharmacists themselves put forward suggestions in three aspects to promote the improvement of the licensed pharmacist system and ensure that the public use drugs are safe and effective.
