人民陪审员参审机制存在的问题及完善建议

The Current Problems and Improvement of the People's Jurors Attending System

人民陪审员制度在我国已运行多年,但发展至今仍存在诸如人民陪审员参审机制还不成熟,人民陪审员信息库滞后,参审人员受年龄、职业、学历限制而广泛性缩减,宣传工作不到位,以及人民陪审员保障机制不健全等问题。这些问题困扰着人民陪审员制度的发展。因此,要推进人民陪审员制度的发展、为立法工作做准备,就必须从根本上解决以上问题。

The people＇s juror system has been operated in our country for many years,but many problems still exist in the development. At present,the people＇s jurors attending system is not mature yet and the people＇s jurors information bank lags behind. There are fewer and fewer people＇s jurors due to the limits of age,vocation,and educational background. Moreover,much less publicity is given,and the security system of people＇s jurors is imperfect. The people＇s juror system has been hampered by such problems. Therefore,in order to promote the development of the people＇s juror system and prepare for the legislative work,we must solve these problems fundamentally.
