开端计划是美国施行的关于低收入家庭幼儿早期教育的政策,家长参与思想是整个政策的核心。该计划要求家长不仅要参与到幼儿的教育、成长中来,还必须通过自我的被教育、学习,反向促进儿童的进步,成为幼儿健康生活的源泉与动力。开端计划中的家长参与改变了传统的教育观,对我国家长教育有一定的借鉴意义。

The Head Start is a policy on early childhood education implemented in the United States. It focuses on poor or disadvantaged children aged 3-5 years,and is led by the direct administration of the federal government and the state government. It seeks to adopt social services,health services,and parental involvement,Community support four aspects to improve the quality of education,to solve the problem of education equality,and improve the vicious cycle of poverty. Its parental involvement is the core of the entire policy and it is also the most distinctive part. It requires parents not only to participate in the education and growth of young children,but also to promote the progress of children through self-education and learning,and to become the source and driving force for the healthy life of young children. The great value of the Head Start of parental participation has a certain value for our parent education.
