As an experimenter of fiction innovation,Virginia Woolf has been trying to expend the fiction＇s boundary.On the effect of visual narration in Mrs.Dalloway,we find it reaches an impressionism video switching effect by borrowing the montage techniques from the movie,which meanwhile shows a potential ＂dramatic＂ dialogue between the narrator and the reader.Thus,the tension caused by the ＂non-stylistic＂ factors such as the power of visual narration in films,paintings and dramas not only expands the space dimension of the novel,but also provides another aesthetic thinking way for the interpretation of Woolf＇s stream of consciousness novels.
