3 D digital city is an important symbol of the level of urban modernization,which has the characteristics of visual and dynamic expression of urban space,and has become the basic content and development trend of digital city construction. This article takes Changchun as an example,introduces the structure and technical features of the three-dimensional digital city,and studies the role of 3 D geographic information data in urban planning and construction in combination with the urban planning work.
