明代藏族史学名著《后藏志》思辨三则

Speculative Research on the Hou-Zang-Zhi by Tibetan Historian in Ming Dynasty

《后藏志》成书年代大约为明天启元年(1621年)至崇祯七年(1635年)之间。这部史书的编篡目的,除了赞颂后藏佛教的兴盛,更主要的在于宣扬藏巴汗的统治地位,对其统治前藏制造一种正统性;在编纂题材上,是一部融集教法源流、寺院布局、高僧传记为一体的关于后藏地区的寺院志书,为清代西藏地区编撰寺院志提供了范例。

Based on the study of senior scholars and careful examination of historical materials,this paper has made a rather deep research on the Hou-Zang-Zhi and believes that the edition age of the masterwork should be between 1621 and 1635; it is also proposed that the compiling of this history book aims to praise the prosperity of Buddhism in Hou-Zang region,securing the social status of Tsangpa Khan and indicating the historical inevitability of his rule over Qian-Zang Region; and as to its subject matter,the author thinks that the book is annals of monasteries that including contents of origins of Buddhist Law,structures of temples,and biographies of well respected Buddhist monks.
