The Library Board of Queensland is a statutory body established according to The Libraries Act of 1943. it is the highest decision - making and management institution of the State Library of Queensland. With over 70 years of development and improvement, the system of the Library Board of Queensland is relatively mature. The paper mainly introduces the functions, rights, obligations, personnel and operational mechanisms as well as the inter- nal agencies of the LibraryBoard of Queensland, and analyzes its characteristics so as to provide reference for the construction and improvement of the system of public library board in our country.
