Wang Derong, a poet of Licheng, made a living by teaching reading for the imperial examination. He was an important figure in the poetry circles during the Jiaqing and Daoguang Periods of Qing Dynasty. Wang De- rong and his works are of great value to study the people and history of Lieheng.
