In order to show Chinese nation＇s spiritual value of the Grand Canal and make it keep abreast of that of the Great Wall,We must demonstrate its unique significance in aesthetic,economic and political fields.The real Qionghua may have died in the war,but it is still the Grand Canal＇s most prominent aesthetic culture image.＂Rice,salt,tea,horse,wine＂,which were not only necessary for the daily life of the people in the past,but also regarded as an important matter of the ancient state affairs,can be used as the image of the Grand Canal＇s economic culture.The Grand Canal itself,as the link between the North and South,is also the most distinct political image.
