In this paper, the author comprehensively analyzed the conditions of establishing forest city in Taiyuan City, and objectively evaluated the advantages and weaknesses of establishing forest city in Taiyuan City. Then, the author expounded general layout and target tasks of establishing forest city in Taiyuan City, and put forward specific safeguard measures.
