"不X也X"表面看来互相矛盾,实则表达转折义,在如今口语中经常使用。从结构构成来看,能够嵌入"不X也X"结构的"X",一般是单音节词,也有双音节词。从语义类型来看,"不X也X"结构构成两个停顿,两个停顿前后之间表强制、并列等关系。从语用价值来看,这一格式结构紧凑,韵律和谐,富于口语化,修辞效果丰富,有它存在的价值。
