Questionnaire-based Survey of Regional Enterprises on Needs for English Talents and Its Enlightenment to Talent Cultivation

珠三角区域企业对英语人才的需求多于其他语种人才,主要涉及外贸跟单、日常接待和业务谈判。企业非常注重英语人才的沟通合作能力和口译水平,对职业道德、行业知识和信息处理、文化差异、国际视野、开放式心态和终身学习等能力有较高要求,同时在人才培养上应强调中国文化以及涉外礼仪的学习。

Companies in Pearl River Delta region need more English talents than those of other foreign languages,mainly involving foreign trade documentary,daily reception and business negotiation. English talents＇ communication and cooperation skills are considered to be extremely important,and their professional ethics,industry knowledge,information processing capacity,understanding of cultural differences,international vision,open-mindedness and lifelong learning ability are regarded as being in high demand. Meanwhile,more emphasis should be laid on the learning of Chinese culture and international communication etiquette in talent cultivation.
