My Experience of Talent Exchanges Both in China and in Australia

我出生在上海,在我刚三周大之时,便被侵华日军关押到集中营内。但所幸的是,在父母的不懈努力下,我最终幸免于难。我的父亲同宋氏姐妹、其兄长宋子文先生以及孙中山先生相交甚好。同时,他还认识蒋介石先生和毛泽东先生身边的一些重要人士,并与双方人士都保持着不错的关系。

I was born in Shanghai and at the age of 3 weeks old was confined to concentration camp by the Japanese invaders. I was lucky to survive the ordeal thanks to the diligence of my parents. My father knew the Soong sis-ters, their brother TV Soong and Sun Zhongshan quite well. He also knew key f gures in both Jiang Jieshi＇s and Mao Zedong＇s cabinets and was on reasonable terms with both groups. In 1948, my family left Shanghai and arrived in Australia.
