摘要
罗西尼写的歌剧种类很多,除了被人熟知的喜歌剧之外,还有滑稽剧、大歌剧和正歌剧等。罗西尼一共创作了39部歌剧,其中正歌剧就有十来部之多,但另有人说是25部。可见,即使到了现在,歌剧的分类都不是严格的（事实上也无法准确归类）。而所谓的25部正歌剧,是把他创作的严肃歌剧、宗教剧都归之于正歌剧范畴。不管怎么说,罗西尼创作的正歌剧比他的喜歌剧还要多,这是肯定的。
Semiramide is an opera in two acts by Gioachino Rossini. The libretto by Gaetano Rossi is based on Voltaire's tragedy Semiramis, which in turn was based on the legend of Semiramis of Assyria. The opera premiered at the Teatro La Fenice on February 3, 1823.
