Surveying and mapping technology is an important content in geological surveying engineering. Combined with the basic theory of the new surveying and mapping technology, this paper mainly analyzed the application of this technology in geological surveying engineering so as to achieve the greatest advantage of the new technology in engineering practice and promote the efficient development of measurement engineering.
