This paper mainly analyzed the application status of underground measuring equipment in coal mines and introduced the innovation of underground measuring technology and the application of equipment, especially the application of total station in underground measurement. Through the research on the application of underground measurement equipment in coal mines, the guidance to the application of equipment was strengthened, giving full play to the technical advantages in the actual operation. So the ideal measurement effect was obtained to promote the better development of coal mining enterprises.
