The braking principle of a disc brake and the influencing factors of braking torque are analyzed, and the measures to improve braking force are put forward. The disc brake device has the advantages of large braking torque,sensitive action and good heat dissipation. The application of the disc brake device in the mining belt conveyor can increase the production capacity, increase the amount of coal transportation and prolong the transportation distance.
