To interpret Wang Shu's three architectural works base on binary opposites of Saussure's structural linguistics

将建筑类比于语言来推导建筑形态生成的逻辑,是将语言二元对立中最小成分与整体的关系,与建筑中基本形与体量的关系建立类比,以索绪尔的《普通语言学教程》和罗西的《城市建筑学》为理论基础,依"归纳—类比—演绎"层级关系进行推导,最后得出方法为:先分解为最小单元,再按一定的规则重新组合,以获得对所表达含义的理解。

This paper deduced the logic of how to form architecture based on language analogy with architecture,is to build the relationship between the smallest component and the whole in binary opposites in language,and the relationship between the basic shape and the mass,and as the theoretical basis based on Saussure’s Course in General Linguistics and Rossi’s The Architecture of the City,deduced based on the hierarchical relationship of＂Induction-Analogy-Deduction＂. Finally,summarized that to get the understanding by to the minimum unit ant then recomposition based on a certain rule.
