湖南城步方言中的“要”

Yao(要) in Chengbu Dialect of Hunan Province

"要"在城步方言中既有表示"希望得到、索取"的获取义用法,也有表示"使对方得到某种东西"的给予义用法。这两种用法表明,城步方言中的"要"同时具有"获取"和"给予"的意义,是一个双向语义动词。从句法和语义两个方面出发,重点分析城步方言中的"要"的给予义特征,揭示城步方言中"要"的特殊用法。

This paper records the part of speech of Yao（ 要） in Chengbu dialect of Hunan Province. Yao（ 要） expresses both the meaning of asking for something and the meaning of giving sth. These diverse usages show that Yao（ 要） in Chengbu dialect has two functions which are acquiring and giving. Obviously,it is a bi-directional semantic verb. Starting from syntactic properties and semantic features,the paper focuses on analyzing the meaning of giving,which is meant to reveal the special usage of Yao（ 要）.
