糖尿病是临床常见慢性代谢性疾病,是失明、肾衰竭、心脏病发作、中风和下肢截肢的主要病因,死亡率逐年增加,据预测,2030年,糖尿病将成为第7主要死因.因此,糖尿病的预防及治疗至关重要.近年来,国内外相关研究表明,通过开展糖尿病健康教育,可以让患者及家属、高危人群掌握糖尿病的防治知识,提高自我保健意识,提高现症患者就诊率,减少、延缓并发症的发生,延长寿命,降低糖尿病病死率,同时提高糖尿病患者的生活质量,健康教育作为糖尿病综合防治5项措施之一,在糖尿病防治中发挥了重要作用.就糖尿病健康教育的对象、内容、作用、模式进行综述.

Diabetes mellitus is a common clinical chronic metabolic disease. It is the major cause of blindness, kidney failure, heart attack, stroke and lower limb amputation. The mortality rate is increasing year by year. It is predicted that diabetes will become the seventh leading cause of death in 2030. Therefore, the prevention and treatment of diabetes is crucial. In recent years, relevant research at home and abroad shows that health education of diabetes can help patients and their families and high-risk groups master the knowledge of prevention and treatment of diabetes, raise their awareness of self-care, improve the visiting rate, reduce and delay the occurrence of complications,prolong the life expectancy, reduce the mortality of diabetes and improve the quality of life of patients with diabetes. Health education as one of five measures to prevent and treat diabetes has played an important role in the prevention and treatment of diabetes. The object, content, function and mode of diabetes of health education are reviewed.
