男权社会中女性“镜像化”生存的困境——《伊芙琳》的女性主义解读

The Predicament of Women Living in the Mirror Image of the Patriarchal Society:A Feminist Perspective into James Joyce's Eveline in Dubliners

拉康的镜象理论和女性主义者的主体性建构理论强调主体的文化建构,若从这个视角中去解读乔伊斯《都柏林人》中的《伊芙琳》,可以看到伊芙琳的心灵瘫痪源于她的"文化建构的他者性"的境遇。因此,基于后现代理论解读伊芙琳的存在,尝试从镜像化生存的困境、打破镜像的尴尬和重组碎片的可能等三个层面深入研究女性是如何陷入镜像化生存的困境,以及该如何唤醒女性自主意识,去构建本真自我,具有一定的现实意义。

Lacan’s theory of Mirror Image and the Feminist theory of construction of subjectivity focus on the cultural construction of the subjectivity.If from this angle to look at James Joyce’s Eveline in Dubliners,we see Eveline’s mental paralysis stemmed from her living situation, ＂the otherness of cultural construction＂.Therefore,based on the post-modernism theory,researching from three aspects,namely, the predicament of living in the mirror image,the embarrassment of breaking the mirror image and the possibility of reorganizing mirror fragments,this paper reveals how women are driven into the predicament and the importance for women to awake their self-awareness and construct a genuine self.
