Water pump is the core part of the water supply system, and the operation quality of the pump often has a great influence on the system. This paper introduced the mechanical seal technology and several common water pump leakage problems and analyzed the concrete application of mechanical seal in water pump maintenance and matters needing attention in the operation,hoping to further improve the operation efficiency of the water pump system in China.
