介绍了米轨铁路和米轨铁路机车的应用情况,对比分析了几款既有米轨机车的主要技术参数.,并以马来西亚米轨铁路干线牵引的需求为例,对米轨电力机车的总体牵引性能进行了一系列计算说明,为建立米轨电力机车技术平台提供依据。

This article introduces the applications of meter-gauge track and meter-gauge locomotives,and makes a comparison of main technical parameters to the several existing meter-gauge locomotives. Taking the traction requirements of meter-gauge main-line for Malaysia as a example,this article makes a series of calculations for general traction performance of meter-gauge locomotive,and gives several suggests for building the platform of meter-gauge electric locomotive.
