The Relations Between Jiao With Learning in Tan Sitong's Vision

中国近代出现了空前绝后的宗教热,包括谭嗣同在内的近代哲学家都对宗教问题热切关注、津津乐道。无论宗教概念的歧义丛生还是救亡图存、思想启蒙的现实需要都促使他们关注宗教与政治、学术之间关系。有别于康有为的教学相混和严复的教学殊途,谭嗣同断言"教能包政、学",并在这个前提下厘定教学关系。

Chinese modern times witnessed a religion craze. Philosophers of modern times including Tan Sitongpresented much concern and comment on the relations among religion,politics and Learning. Different from Kang Youwei＇s mixing Jiaowith Learningand Yan Fu＇s differentiating Jiao from Learning,Tan Sitong believedthat Jiao included politics and Learning,and defined the relations between Jiaoand Learning.
