利比里亚的教育具有如下特征:历史悠久但发展缓慢;基础条件较差;学科设置比较狭窄,重人文轻理工;职业教育落后。但其在教育理念和教育制度上值得我们借鉴,即以学生为中心、以严谨态度治学及创造积极向上的校园文化。

Liberia＇s education possesses the following characteristics： long history but slow development; poor basic conditions; fractured subject setting and biased emphasis on literature; behindhand professional education. However, its education concept and education system are worthy of our reference, which is taking students as the center, pursuing studies hardly, and keeping striving.
